My name is Godwin Quashigah, popularly known as “Mr. GQ”. I am originally from Keta, Ghana and currently live in Pennsylvania, United States.  I have a background and experience in management consulting.

 

I am a Ph.D. candidate at The Pennsylvania State University, University Park campus with an emphasis on Human Resource and Organizational Development. My interest in the Ph.D. program  in  Human Resource and Organizational Development stems from the challenges that I have observed many third world nations, including my native country, Ghana face in employing people with competent skills in both the private and public sector for positive development. I found this area exciting and meeting my career goals because it is designed to promote excellence and leadership among professionals in the workforce education and development field.

 

 I hold a dual Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) and Public Administration (MPA)  from Shippensburg University and Pennsylvania State University respectively. Besides, I received   post-graduate certifications in Human Resource Management and Non-Profit Administration both from Pennsylvania State University. 

 

Outside academia and professional interests, I enjoy traveling, and helping young adults make a well- informed decision about their educational and career choices.
